Saima Irshad is the Founder and President of Attendr. She leads the company’s strategic direction and daily operations, ensuring that its innovative solutions align with the needs of educators and students. Focusing on transforming attendance tracking for primary and secondary schools across Canada, Saima combines her extensive background in education and management to guide the company’s vision. Her leadership ensures that Attendr remains at the forefront of educational technology, driving meaningful improvements in efficiency and user experience for schools.

Before founding Attendr, Saima spent several years as a school teacher at Zeeshan Cambridge School, where she oversaw the education and development of over 450 students from grades one through six. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the educational challenges faced by both educators and students, particularly around communication and program management. Her insights into the limitations of manual attendance tracking systems directly inspire the solutions that Attendr offers today.

In addition to her educational background, Saima transitioned into a business management role at Dar Tariq, where she honed her strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project coordination skills. This experience—managing timelines, budgets, and operational logistics—equips her to lead Attendr in navigating the complexities of the education tech industry and driving the company's growth and market presence.
